A Letter to a Young Me.

Dear Younger Self,

Some advice.

1.  Stop chasing that boy.  Sure, he's just pretending not to be interested, but you're making yourself a doormat, and there are a ton of other boys who like you and are pursuing YOU.  Take a look at those guys.

2.  You're so pretty.  And you could totally rock a bikini if it was even remotely  your style.  Your self-consciousness about your chest size is totally irrelevant to life.

3.  Forget the past - the now is awesome.

4.  You can't go back and fix your screw ups.  You can only do better next time.

5.  Just because someone is talented doesn't mean they are a good person.

6.  Trust your instincts.  If you think someone is a creepy stalker, they probably are.

7.  Think about the people that actually care about you.  Keep them in your life.  Forget the rest.

8.  Stop trying so hard to be something you weren't made to be.

9.  If you want to do something well, then DO it.  Stop waiting for someone else to push you, do it for you, or hand you an opportunity.

10.  The nice guys are the ones who hold the door open for you, give you a shoulder to cry on, and see you when you're trying to be invisible.

11.  Your real friends are a lot like the nice guys.

12.  Be honest.  Especially with yourself.

13.  If you get a lower grade than you'd hoped for, the world will not end.

14.  Your mom knows what she's talking about more often than not.

15.  Being popular is too much work to be worth it.

Keep your head up, Kid.

- Me.
